The NIBCO® PEX poly adapter is designed for use with NIBCO® PEX in potable water and radiant heating systems. The NIBCO® PEX poly adapter is made of PPSU polyphenylsulfone and features a PEX x male iron pipe connection. This fitting provides a means of adapting a threaded connection with a PEX connection. Please refer to NIBCO® technical data sheets and catalogs for engineering and installation information. NIBCO® PEX fittings are lightweight, easy to install and maintenance-free. Joining can be accomplished with NIBCO® copper crimp ring, copper sleeves or stainless steel sleeves. The NIBCO® PEX system requires fewer fittings than traditional rigid plumbing systems resulting in fewer potential leak paths.
