The NIBCO® Press System® press jaw kit contains four jaws ranging in size from 1/2 to 1-1/4 in in a heavy duty case, intended for use with the PC-280 press tool or the PC-100 press tool. The pressing jaw is installed in the appropriate pressing tool. When the trigger on the pressing tool is depressed a crimp is made, and the jaws must close completely to ensure a leak free connection. When properly crimped, a unique N witness mark is clearly visible. Pressing tools, jaws and chain sets are an integral part of ensuring a reliable, permanent connection between copper piping and NIBCO® Press System® fittings and valves. Use only pressing tools, jaws and chain sets that have been tested and approved for use with NIBCO® Press System® fittings and valves.
