Sioux chief 652-AD or 657-FD piston type closed atmosphere vacuum breaker arrester shall be required where the piping system is subject to cavitation on the non pressure side of a quick closing valve. Vacuum breaker arrester shall be effective when installed at any angle, and with no access panel required. Vacuum breaker arrester shall be sized and placed per manufacturer's instructions.

  • Installation for high flow tub valves with long spout tubes, install 652 AD VacuRester on spout tube, in between tub valve and spout, within one foot of the tub valve for high flow shower valves, install 652 AD VacuRester on shower risers, in between shower valve and shower head, within one foot of the shower valve
  • Poly piston with two EPDM O-ring piston, copper MIP thread male thread fitting, dow corning 111 FDA approved silicone compound piston lubrication
  • 2.900 psig burst tested
  • For high flow lines with shut off valve in the middle of pipe runs, install VacuRester on non pressure side, within one foot of shut off valve
